ChemPlantMatch

Terms of service

Draft — version 0.2, published 5 September 2026 (previously version 0.1, 31 August 2026). This document will be completed with legal review before launch; the commitments described below already apply.

TollBazaar is now ChemPlantMatch; agreements signed under the former name remain in force.

What ChemPlantMatch is

ChemPlantMatch is a brokered marketplace for chemical toll manufacturing in India. Clients who need production capacity find manufacturers who have it. We are an introducer: our broker desk qualifies every enquiry, mediates between the two sides, and — only after both sides have signed agreements — reveals their identities to each other. We are not a party to the manufacturing contract you eventually sign with each other.

The introducer model

Manufacturer listings are published anonymously: capabilities, equipment and certifications are public, while company names and contact details are not. When an enquiry progresses, our broker desk arranges the introduction. An introduction happens only after the manufacturer has signed the platform agreement and the client has signed an acknowledgement for that specific enquiry. Each introduction is recorded, and both signed documents are retained as evidence.

Non-circumvention

When you meet a counterparty through a ChemPlantMatch introduction, you agree not to go around the platform to avoid the fee — for the period stated in the signed agreement, work arising from that introduction is disclosed to and tracked on the platform. This is the deal that keeps listings anonymous, verification funded and the broker desk working for both sides.

The success fee

Using ChemPlantMatch to search, list and enquire costs nothing. When a work order completes, both parties to the introduction it came from — the client and the manufacturer — owe ChemPlantMatch a success fee: a percentage of the invoiced value of that work order, exclusive of GST, at the rate stated in the document that party signed. The standard rate is 2 percent on each side; platform rates lie between 1 and 5 percent, a lower rate within that band may be agreed with us in writing before a work order starts, and the rate applying to a work order is recorded on it before it starts.

A work order completes either when the client confirms receipt of the goods on the platform, or, if no problem has been flagged within 10 days of the recorded dispatch, when the platform treats it as complete. A flag pauses that period and it runs again from the flag’s resolution, and our desk may place an automatic completion on hold with the reason recorded.

Each fee is invoiced offline to the party that owes it, with GST as applicable, payable within 30 days. No payments move through the platform, and we never handle the toll fee between client and manufacturer.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate company, compliance and capability information.
  • Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself and tell us if they are compromised.
  • Do not attempt to identify anonymised counterparties or share identifying details before an introduction.
  • Post work-order updates honestly — your public track record is built from them.

Account deletion

You can request deletion from your settings at any time. Your account is deleted after a 30-day window; signing in again within that window cancels the deletion. Records of completed deals and the audit trail are retained, as the agreements between the parties require.

Changes to these terms

This is a working draft. When the completed terms are published, we will show the new version and date here, and material changes will be announced to account holders before they take effect.
